Pottery: 3 hour class on the wheel

It all begins with centering a piece of clay on the wheel. Once you have mastered the basic skills, you will be able to throw a mug, bowl, vessel or vase of your design. These will then be glazed and fired in the kiln and sent to you via post or available for collection. This requires 3 hours in the pottery studio, leaving you time to explore the local area. Minimum number of people per session is 2, maximum is 4.

£75 per person (includes glazing, firing and shipping)

Pottery: Week long stay.

Would you rather stay for a bit longer and be involved in the whole process from building and throwing to glazing to firing? Expect to make a set of crockery or craft a masterpiece sculpture to take home. You can learn how to throw and/or hand-build a range of forms.
